The instrument is equipped with a fine quality beam splitting
glass prism which causes the image of the object to appear as if
superimposed upon the plain paper, so
that drawing can be traced thereupon It fits on any straight monocular tube.
Useful in preparing accurate and neat drawings of microscopic material.
