Comprising
a bar of iron 108 mm long x 11.5 mm diameter mounted at its midpoint on a
support rod fitted with a wooden handle, and a brass gauge 150 x 28 mm with a
cut out, with a wooden handle, which just admits the bar length ways. Two holes
are provided on brass gauge, which passes the circular bar endways when cold.
